GOD IS ALL POWERFUL (OMNIPOTENCE): Psalm 147:5

The Omnipotence of God is clearly set forth in at least five ways: His I) Creating, II) Preserving, III) Governing, IV) Judging, and V) Redeeming.

I. GOD’S OMNIPOTENCE IS SEEN IN HIS CREATING POWER.

II. GOD’S OMNIPOTENCE IS SEEN IN HIS PRESERVING POWER.

III. GOD’S OMNIPOTENCE IS SEEN IN HIS GOVERNING POWER.

I) God governs the Elements.

II) God governs Men.

III) God governs Animals. 

IV) God governs Angels. 

V) God governs Demons.

VI) God governs the Wicked.

IV. GOD’S OMNIPOTENCE IS SEEN IN HIS JUDGING POWER. 

V. GOD’S OMNIPOTENCE IS SEEN IN HIS REDEEMING POWER.

I) The virgin birth of Jesus Christ shows God’s omnipotence.

II) Jesus’ resurrection from the dead shows God’s omnipotence.

III) Regeneration through the preaching of the gospel shows God’s omnipotence.

IV) Empowering Christians to be witnesses for Jesus shows God’s omnipotence.

V) Guarding Christians through faith, preserving them to the end shows God’s omnipotence.

VI) Giving His saints resurrected bodies will show forth God’s omnipotence.
