2. Seemingly little sins may have tremendously costly consequences (1 Samuel 21:1-3; 1 Samuel 22:22; 1 Samuel 2:30-36). 


3. The Lord's sovereign will shall be accomplished even through the sins of men (1 Samuel 22:6-19). 


4. The Lord's people will be protected from all eternal harms (1 Samuel 22:23).
